About
A collaborative project focused on transforming a two-story commercial space into a functional live/work environment, incorporating a lift design that serves both retail and residential purposes.

My contribution primarily involved the ground floor (work area), where I began with conceptual sketches and visuals before progressing to technical construction documents. I emphasized spatial planning, circulation flow, ADA compliance, and the integration of an elevated lift space to connect both levels seamlessly.

Plans
I focused on designing the ground floor workspace, developing detailed dimensioned layouts, furniture arrangements, and finish plans. The concept aimed to establish a dedicated library-style work environment that remains distinct from the residential area while still maintaining a cohesive design connection with the living space on the first floor.
Detail
This detailed stair section showcases my design considerations for accessibility and material selection. I made sure that the landing length meets ADA requirements, providing safe and accessible circulation. I also specified the porcelain tile thickness to align with the overall finish and durability of the staircase. The drawing includes precise measurements for risers, treads, and handrails, ensuring both functionality and seamless integration with the space’s design.
